ON THE ROAD AGAIN......

As many of you already know, we are continuing in the process of itineration here in the U.S. for the PCG. We are currently in the Southern Missouri District and have been enjoying this time with the pastors and churches of the district. We had a blast at the SOMO Senior High youth camp and can’t wait to welcome some of those students to Brazil on future missions trips!!
We have been in various churches over the last 6 months and have seen such a great outpouring of love not only for us but for missions and the Great Commission. We still have many roads to travel and many church families to meet while here in the U.S., and as we do we are ever diligent to keep our eye on the prize, the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the reason we are running this race. We want to thank all of the pastors and churches who have allowed us to be with them in their services. We are excited to be able to partner with you for the harvest, both in Brazil and here on your own mission field!

Current Itineration in the U.S.

We are currently itinerating in the United States through the Pentecostal Church of God World Missions. As we write and send out this newsletter we are finishing up our time in the Florida District and will be headed for a short stop in the Georgia District before returning to Joplin, Missouri to a wait the birth of our precious daughter, at least we’ve been told it’s a girl! The Florida District has been so gracious to host us and we have had a wonderful time in fellowship with the churches and ministers in this state.
We will be spending most of May and June in the Joplin area attending the PCG convention and visiting various churches. We will then begin formally itinerating again with the Southern Missouri District at the end of July and will continue on from there. We look forward to meeting new church families and making new friends. We hope to see you soon!

Vision

Passion and Compassion Ministries exists to be a canal for healing, restoration, and life in Christ, while at the same time looking to the needs of society. We have a desire to raise up a generation whose hearts burn with passion for the Lord and compassion for the nations, fulfilling the Great Commission, preaching and teaching the principles of the Word of God.
It burns in our hearts the desire to raise up a church who worships with a missionary heart. One that does not place great importance on the riches of this world, but who has a passion for the Lord and an intimate compassion for the lost. In the beginning of the ministry the Lord placed this mandate in our hearts:
“The same hands lifted in worship, extended to help”.
We believe that the Lord is raising up His church for this purpose, and that it will bring forth a great harvest in our days.
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well’.”Mark 16:15-18
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me’. Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The Kind will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me’.”Matthew 25:34-40
